The first four episodes of Minecraft: Story Mode came out in rapid succession, giving players a meticulously crafted story before Christmas. Telltale is the developer. suddenly did not talk about when the adventure would come to an end. Today we have an announcement date however it's not what we were expecting. Episode five will launch on March 29th, and will be followed by a further three episodes later this year. They're described as "additional escapades" and will not be part of the season pass, therefore you'll have to pay a little extra for the full story.
"We're not going to go into details regarding the content yet however we can say that they'll be great, and may have an entirely different flavor than the previous season," Mojang's Owen Hill wrote in an article on the blog.
